Black Diamond built their Mission MX Mitts for cold mountain days that demand real weather protection and dependable warmth. The design uses a 100% waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX liner with Gore plus warm technology, so snow, sleet, and wet chairlift laps are easier to handle. PrimaLoft Gold insulation adds serious heat without turning the mitt into a stiff, bulky piece. A reinforced goat leather palm gives the mitt a durable contact zone for poles, grabs, and everyday winter wear. Rip-stop polyester with padding across the back of the hand adds another layer of durability and coverage in rough conditions. The insulated cuff is shaped to sit neatly under a jacket, which helps streamline layering and keeps the closure clean.
