This version updates the outsole and rubber compound design while improving breathability for demanding terrain and hard efforts. Slip-on construction wraps the foot securely, helping reduce pressure points during climbs, descents, and fast transitions. The side-panel update supports airflow, which is especially useful during sustained work on technical trails. Outsole lugs wrap onto the midsole for added traction and stability when the trail cuts across off-camber ground. A forefoot rock guard, TPU toe cap, STB inserts, and recycled AirMesh lining support protection and comfort without excessive weight. La Sportiva's bi-compound FriXion XT 2.0 outsole, V-Groove3 design, FLEX inserts, and 4mm lugs give runners confident grip on varied mountain terrain.
